Removing red eye from images in ProShow

To remove red eye from your images in ProShow you need to use the red eye removal tool located under the ‘Adjustments’ tab found under the Layers section of the slide options.  Check the Red-Eye check box and click on the ‘Red-eye’ button to open up the red eye removal tool.

Having red eye in an image can really ruin the look of your image and the person you are trying to capture in the image. That’s why we provide an easy way for you to remove red eye from your images right from ProShow with one click of a button.

Removing red-eye from your image (ProShow 5)

  1. Double-click (left mouse button) the image that you need to remove red eye from.  This will open the image in the Slide options.SlideOptions_redeye_checkbox
  2. Select your image from Layers and click on the Adjustments tab.
  3. Now locate the Red-Eye option found under Editing Tools, check the Red-Eye check box and then click on the Red-Eye button.
  4. With your left-mouse button select the area you want the red eye tool to focus on. If you need to zoom in on the image, use your mouse-wheel to get up-close on the area you are working on for better accuracy.
  5. Repeat step 4 for both eyes so that you have both areas sitting in the Red Eye Areas list on the right-hand side of the Red-Eye removal interface
  6. Finally, click Ok and watch as ProShow quickly removes the red tint from your image.

Removing red-eye from your image (ProShow 4 and earlier)

  1. Double-click (left mouse button) the image that you need to remove red eye from.  This will open the image in the Slide options.
  2. Click on Layers and then click on the Editing tab.
  3. Now locate the Red-Eye option found under Editing Tools, check the Red-Eye check box and then click on the Red-Eye button
  4. With your left-mouse button select the area you want the red eye tool to focus on. If you need to zoom in on the image, use your mouse-wheel to get up-close on the area you are working on for better accuracy.
  5. Repeat step 4 for both eyes so that you have both areas sitting in the Red Eye Areas list on the right-hand side of the Red-Eye removal interface
  6. Finally, click Ok and watch as ProShow quickly removes the red tint from your image.

That’s it!  If you are unhappy with the results, click Edit on the top toolbar menu or Ctrl+Z on your keyboard to undo your latest change and repeat the process again.
