ProShow isn’t configured when exporting from Lightroom

ProShow, ProShow Gold, ProShow Plug-in for Lightroom, ProShow Producer

In order for the ProShow Plug-in for Lightroom to work properly you must make sure the plug-in knows where ProShow is installed on your computer.  To set the installation path for ProShow in the plug-in, scroll down to the bottom of the export plug-in dialog and locate the section labeled ‘ProShow Configuration’ and click the ‘Browse’ button.

If you just installed the ProShow Plug-in for Lightroom and are receiving the ProShow Isn’t Configured error message when trying to export your images, we have an easy fix for you.

Configuring ProShow in Lightroom

  1. From the ProShow plug-in export dialog scroll down to the ProShow Configuration section of the plug-in.
  2. Then click on the Browse button located on the right-hand side of the configuration section and locate the ProShow installation path .
  3. Default path for ProShow Producer is: C:\Program Files(x86)\Photodex\ProShowProducer

    Default path for ProShow Gold is: C:\Program Files(x86)\Photodex\ProShowGold

  4. Once the installation path is located, select proshow.exe from the folder and then click Select to insert the path into the plug-in.
  5. Now click on Export again and see if you are able to successfully export your images to ProShow.
