If you are looking for an easy way to adjust the slide and/or transition time for all slides at one time, you need to select all slides in the timeline by hitting ‘Ctrl+A’ and then click inside one of the slide time boxes on a slide, type in the duration you want for all the slides and then hit ‘Enter’ on your keyboard.
To set slide or transition time for all slides do the following:
- Select the first slide in your show on the timeline so that it is highlighted in blue.
- Using your keyboard hit both the Ctrl key + the letter A together. All slides should now be selected. You can also right-click with your mouse on a slide and hit Select All from the pop up menu to highlight all slides.
- With your mouse left-click inside the slide or transition time box on one of the highlighted slides and type in your new value.
- Now hit Enter on your keyboard and it will apply that value to all selected slides in your timeline.
That’s it! If you need to change the value again follow these steps until you find a value that you like.
