To record a voice over in ProShow you need to double-click on the slide and then click on the ‘Slide Sounds’ button located under Backgound + Sound. Click on the ‘Record’ button found near the top left-hand corner of the Slide Sounds to begin the recording.
Timeline view changes your slide list into a timeline. This displays your slide thumbnails as smaller images with the width of the thumbnail based on how long the slide time is. Longer slides will have longer thumbnails.
The waveform for your audio will be significantly larger in this view, and you will be able to easily manage your music tracks when using this view.
Trimming music in ProShow is easy. To trim your music, click on ‘Audio’ on the top menubar in ProShow and select ‘Manage Soundtracks’ from the drop down list. Now select the music track you would like to trim and then click on the ‘Edit Fades and Timing’ button of the manage soundtrack window.
Audio files that are rejected by ProShow may be copy protected, corrupt or simply in an unsupported file format.
ProShow provides many different ways for you to sync your slides to the music in your show. You can control how it syncs the slides to your music using specific guidelines or you can use one of the Quick sync functions to sync your music to the entire show, selected slides or even by selected slides to track.
