Like any application, ProShow only has access to a limited amount of resources on your computer. If ProShow needs to use more memory than it has available, you may receive a notice about being low on memory.
ProShow provides best-in-class playback of slide shows. Understanding what can affect playback performance can help you improve the performance of your shows.
To add your show to your iPad or iPhone using iTunes, you need to output your show using the Device output option in ProShow. Then you need to import the video into iTunes by adding the video to your iTunes library. Finally, you need to connect your iDevice to your computer and click on the ‘Movies’ tab found under your iPad or iPhone interface in iTunes and select the video you would like to sync with your device.
The plug-in lets you easily create slideshows that you can watch anywhere, on popular mobile and TV devices including the new iPhone 5S, iPad, Apple TV and more. The plug-in works directly with ProShow Producer and ProShow Gold to create videos compatible with any device you select.
Unfortunately, ProShow cannot prevent someone from copying your CD, DVD or Blu-ray discs that you output. You can however include some protection that will make it difficult for someone to playback the show when the disc is inserted into their computer and you included the Executable on the disc.
Aspect Ratio is defined as the relative relationship between the width and height of some object. It applies to images, videos, menus and shows within ProShow and can have a significant impact on video output.
A live show is an Executable that can dynamically pull images from a folder on your hard drive as the show plays. Perfect for event photography, or a photo studio. This allows you to change images as the show plays, without the need to stop and rebuild the show.
To remove the intro show, select the output option you plan to use (Blu-ray, DVD, EXE), click on the ‘Shows’ tab and then uncheck the ‘Include Intro Show’ checkbox located on the bottom-right hand corner of the output options window.
To add multiple shows to your output first you need to select an output format that supports multiple shows like Blu-ray, DVD, EXE, Web Shows and or Autorun CD. Then click on the ‘Shows’ tab and add your additional shows by pressing the (+) add button on the top left-hand side of the show list.
It’s easy to get the most out of your Executable shows once you understand the Quality / Performance Settings. These options can have a big impact on how well your shows play.
